Kuroshitsuji II – Episode 01

Guess who’s back to blogging~! 8D

Since SC’s been done a long time and I missed the opportunity to blog Kuro last time, I finally can blog season 2, which  I am LOVING so far! It’s just epic! Even though it’s 3 eps in, better get to it now before it gets too late in, huh? ^.^ So here’s episode 01 for you. :)

Thoughts:

As a first episode, I loved it! I had no problems with it at all! The music, the VA, the setting, the colors, it all seemed fine to me. And of course, I loved the return of — Ah, ah, but wait, that would be spoiling it, wouldn’t it? ;)

Main New Characters:

Alois - I despised him at the beginning, but now, I love him. The kid has definitely got some kind of mental illness, perhaps Schizophrenia or Bi-Polar disorder, maybe even Psychosis. Something. He’s insane, and sadistic, and I love it. I think he’s a great and interesting character. :) And he’s a cutie. Ciel’s cuter, of course, but I do think Alois is adorable.

Claude -  Eh, he’s okay. He’ll never be up on par with Sebastian (not even close!) but he’s doable. However, he seems to fail in his duties as a proper butler, so I don’t like the guy much. He does, though, seem to care for Alois, which is incredibly cute. Not in a Ciel/Sebastian-esque way (Because, honestly, who can beat them? 8D), but in a cute way all the same, and I have to admit, I “aww’ed” at the scene at the end between them. (The,  “Even if you don’t seek it, I will always crave you, until the end,” bit.)

Hannah – I love her! She’s great, much easier to put up with than Maylene, (Who I can’t stand, honestly) and she seems a nice, hard-working woman, and the main reason I despised Alois in the first place was because of his treatment of her. I h0pe we see more of her later on.

The Triplets – Love them too! In terms of Servants, the Trancy Household seems to have the better of the set. Though I love Finny.. :( Still, hope we see more of them and we hear their voices next time.

So it seems Alois is sexually/physically abused by the male lying in the bed with him (His uncle? Father?); which kinda shocked me. The fact that it was shown outright, especially in an anime that loves teasing you with shounen-ai/yaoi and giving nothing but hints, made me feel immediate sympathy for him.

Claude hears Alois’s plea.

Aaand, you got yourself a contract, kid. I have to LOL about it being on his tongue though. How inappropriate. xD

Claude wakes up Alois, gives him his morning tea, and begins dressing him. Haha, I love how impatient Alois is.

To get some kind of reaction out of his butler, Alois begins unbuttoning his shirt.

LOL. Alois, you little slut! XD He’s like, “You know you want this.” God, if Ciel had had this kind of audacity with Sebastian… x’D

Claude doesn’t seem to be too phased, though, so this makes Alois asks if he’s angry, to which Claude denies and goes back to what he was doing. Alois is apparently bored by the lack of reaction.

So Alois finally gets amused and begins laughing this adorable giggle, while giving a hint that his humor is not something that is completely normal.

Hannah. God, I love her. Alois doesn’t seem to, though, (talking about how she’s pitiful) and purposely spills his dink to get her attention.

Evil face~

This is actually the scene that made me think, “Okay, this kid has problems.. he’s a brat, and someone needs to knock him down a peg or two.”

Simply because she looked him in the eyes, he saw fit to punish her this extremely?

I guess in his own twisted mind, the logic makes sense, though; He seems to think that Claude will “hate him” if he doesn’t punish his servants, or that Claude would actually do a more severe punishment if he didn’t punish Hannah “accordingly”, to his standards.

Though this could also just be an excuse to satisfy his own sick pleasure, lol.

THE TRIPLETS! 8D I love them! And they’re shocked by their master’s treatment of the maid. Too bad we couldn’t hear what they were saying. It was the only dialogue they had, too..

No, no! Number One reason why Claude fails as a butler/guardian; he does not handle Alois like a butler should. Look at Sebastian — When Ciel went to hit Lizzy, Sebastian stopped him and reprehended him. Claude condones Alois’s behavior by wiping his fingers clean of the blood, when he should be teaching him that what he did was wrong.

So this makes Alois think it’s okay to just manhandle his servants. Though slightly in Claude’s defense, Alois will probably do what he wants anyway..

Impassive Claude is impassive. Honestly, a little emotion would be nice. xD

Alois: *face-to-desk* …. booorrreddd.

D’aww. He looks so cute here. ^_^

Claude: “Yes, your highness.”

… lol, Sebastian does it better. ;P

Second reason why Claude fails?

He tap dances.

Yeah.. xD And he looks like a bumbling idiot doing it, all I can do is laugh at the epic fail.

Now, I don’t hate Claude, (Or even dislike him. I just like making fun of him is all) but was anyone besides me hoping he’d fall off the balcony? 8D Yes, I’m evil like that. I just kept thinking, “Fall off! 8′D” (even though I know he’s a demon and therefore won’t make that mistake).

Oh, come on. I know he’s not a Sebastian rip-off, but when he did this, I got slightly annoyed. Not all demons hang like aristocrats from a chandelier — thus making him be Sebastian 2.0.

Or do this. Honestly. That’s Sebastian’s moves, do you own stuff  like that awful tap dancing, for example..

Not all demons or demon butlers I should say do this, either. The only thing that’s different is that the knives are  gold instead of silver.

Wow, Alois sure loves purple. XD I do too, but that’s besides the point. It does look nice, though.

Hahaha~ Claude, you look absolutely ridiculous! XD It’s hilarious. Way to go, Alois!

My first thought when I saw the Viscount was, “*Laughs* Aw, not this damn guy again!”

A chance to be a pedo again. Always good. xD This time on Alois though. Haha.. I was so waiting for him to bring up “Robin”, and when it didn’t happen, I got disappointed. x’D

Ok, so we know Alois’s mom killed herself directly after Alois’s kidnapping… she must have thought she’d never see him again. Still, I think she should have attempted more to find him, (not saying she didn’t, but we don’t know how much she did or not) not mostly rely on her husband to do it.

So Alois came back in the exact same way as Ciel.. with a demon butler.

LOL. There’s sparkles and everything!

Awww… :’( Poor Alois.

Though I don’t think he’s being serious;  I think he’s just acting for the sake of the guests, to come up with a cover story.

This right here makes me think it; The way Claude looked at him? He knew Alois was lying. And plus it makes sense if he told the others a different story — at the beginning, we saw Alois make the deal with Claude when he was older, not when he’d just been found by his dad.

That had to be traumatizing for him. T__T It’s almost like Ciel, except Ciel saw all the kids that were with him killed.

;__; Poor baby Alois. His best fiend was killed too. Of course, we don’t know if this is a fake memory that Alois is using to make his story seem plausible to the men, but it seems factual to me. I don’t think something like this would be fake. D:

It looks like he’s faking even caring about Alois to me.

Now, this is what makes me think it’s his uncle that molested and raped him. Why else would he blush like that? It would make sense if he was doing things to Alois in the past, because that would mean Alois has been close in his face before and is only doing it now to make their relationship look more natural.

LOL, Alois knowing exactly what his uncle wants — his money. So he gives it to him. And more.

I was as amused as Alois about this. Typical human race, scattering for money/wealth. Greed knows no bounds.

Alois: “… Claude..”

Claude: “Yes?”

Alois: “You should be laughing too..”

Ooooh.

Claude: “*Thinking*Uh… no.  I am sooo not amused..”

Sebastian: “Hello. I’m a character from last season, don’t you recognize me? :3″

Alois: “Claude, lets keep him, pwease? He’s so sexy and epic! I can do bad things to him and he wouldn’t even mind, he stands so still~!”

LOL, this whole scene was epic! Sebastian owning Claude and being so offended about being efficient with his job as a butler is so awesome. And Alois looks so proud of Claude, lool.

They gave him a guest room. : D

Sebastian: “What happened to you eye?”

Hannah: “… Nothing..”

Aww. :’( Of course,  she can’t come out and say Alois punished her.

Alois: “Whatcha be doin’ in here, betch? :3″

Oh shit.

Hannah looks so nervous. T_T All she came to do was change the water, not hit on Seb (though who could blame her if she did, lol). Alois automatically assumes she’s there to get “the traveler’s attention.”

Ooo. Sebastian so knows Alois is the one who damaged her eye.

He does not approve. :3

Alois: “Get out of here, you slut!”

Well, damn. O___O Alois, you have quite a mouth on you. XD

And then he kicks her for further abuse. I don’t think this is a sudden thing; I think Alois abuses her frequently. :/

Which makes me wonder why he hates her so much..

Aw, Sebastian’s so sweet, asking if she’s okay. Alois doesn’t know, he doesn’t know what she’s thinking.

Alois: “Well.. I don’t know what anyone is thinking..”

I think this is just an act too; I believe Alois went to talk to Claude/Claude talked to Alois about Sebastian’s identity. So Alois would try to convince Sebastian into a trap by letting on that the mansion is boring, even though he knows Ciel’s ring is in the cellar, where Sebastian inevitably wants to go.

He so knows what’s in the suitcase… just the way he touches it.

Sebastian: “If you show me what’s in the cellar, I’ll show you what’s in this box.”

From Alois’s glee, Sebastian soo knows that he knows. 8D That look is epic.

So Alois leads Sebastian into the cellar to have smex with him find what Seb was looking for.

Claude: “You know, you shouldn’t really throw knives at people.. especially children..you can throw a knife at me, though. <33“

Sebastian: “Puh-leez. Honestly, you think you’re worthy of getting my knife pierced into you? Grell would be more entertaining.”

Alois: “Whatchu say about mah smexy butler?!”

So Claude has issues with people and feet on things, but not general sanitation.. XD Makes sense.

Sebastian: “How can you say that? I’m one hell of a.. –”

Sebastian: “Ah, ah.. spoilers.”

Claude: “Sebastian Michaelis!”

Sebastian: “*Pwning him* Yes, bitch? :3″

Now THAT is how you do a chandelier hang. See, Claude, the original demon knows how it’s done.

Alois apparently has great anxiety of being left in the dark.

Kuro II – ED 01

“Bird” by Yuya Matsuda ???

I don’t even need 3 screencaps to tell you how I feel about this. Best. Ending. Ever. Seriously. I love it more than even “Lacrimosa” which was my fave ED for a long time. <33 The song is absolutely amazing, the animation is beautiful and Sebastian shown as a butterfly is so.. significant. This series has always been about the butterfly being trapped by the spider. Ciel was the butterfly in season 1, Seb was the spider. Now, the roles are reversed; Seb is trapped by Ciel, but simply because he wants to be.

After the Episode:
